The 2025 Portable Audio Festival (Potafes) Winter was successfully held in Akihabara,
known as a
sacred
place for Japanese audio enthusiasts, from December 13 to 14, 2025.
Since the event was held in Akihabara,
the heart of Japanese audio culture, large posters announcing
Potafes could be seen right from the entrance of the venue.
Potafes is the largest portable audio exhibition in Japan,
and around 120 global audio brands
participated in this Winter event.
Before the event began, staff members gathered in front of the Astell&Kern booth for
a pre-meeting to review product explanations and customer service procedures.
It was a moment that offered a glimpse into Astell&Kern’s on-site preparations to deliver a more
accurate and in-depth brand experience to visitors.
At this event, an Astell&Kern representative wearing an Astell&Kern uniform bearing the autograph of
Nobuo Uematsu, the world-renowned composer famous for the Final Fantasy OST, took part on site and
attracted great interest from many visitors.
It was an impressive scene where Astell&Kern, music, and the artist were naturally connected.
As soon as the event started, many visitors came to the Astell&Kern booth to audition the new products
firsthand.
We were once again able to confirm the high level of interest in high-quality portable audio in the
Japanese market and the strong trust in the Astell&Kern brand.
At this Potafes Winter event, two newly launched products from Astell&Kern were exhibited.
The highlights were “STELLA,” a collaboration product with VOLK AUDIO, and the
USB DAC, AK HC5.
Many visitors auditioned both products on site and gave positive feedback on their design and sound.
